Albino hedgehogs are incredibly rare. Only one in 100,000 hogs are born with the recessive gene which means there is no melanin pigment in their skin, eyes or spines. There are thought to be only 100 in the UK. Last night, on Channel 5's Save the Hedgehogs documentary, we met Ms Twinkle and Jericho, two albino hogs who have become local celebs in North Yorkshire. πŸ”— Link in bio for their heartwarming story... #hedgehog #albino #savethehedgehogs #helptheanimals #wildlife (πŸ“Έ Onetouchspark)
Advent has begun and we love this alternative to a traditional advent calendar using branches strung together with twine. Fragrant foliage, bright decorative elements and stylish handmade touches set the scene for the Hill family’s celebrations in their charming Hampshire cottage. On this date, in one month's time, it will be Christmas Day, and we are thinking about the all-important tree. We love this scheme: traditional greenery blended with gold and silver decorations for a warm Christmas celebration. Gold and indigo look elegant against a warm neutral backdrop for a contemporary country style. #Christmas #Christmastree #christmasdecorations (πŸ“Έ Rachel Whiting | Styling: Ben Kendrick)
A dreamy autumnal cottage spotted in Houghton, Norfolk, by @lensereflection. In the 2011 Census, the tiny village had a population of less than 100. How peaceful. #repost #regram #cottage #dreamhome
